Last October 9, 2017, the kick-off meeting of the ValorMar project was held. The ValorMar project, led by SONAE, includes 31 entities with a wide national geographic scope. ValorMar will develop innovative technological solutions with the general objective of adding value to marine resources through research, development and demonstration of new products and improvement of production processes, proposing innovative solutions for the creation of new healthy food products. Hidromod will implement data management and forecasting systems for metocean parameters, based on its Aquasafe solution, supporting aquaculture production at Ria de Aveiro, Ria de Alvor and Ria Formosa (in Portugal).
