Agricultural Engineer, Msc in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Environmental Engineering. In my 20-year professional experience, I have specialized in two specific areas, farm scale and watershed scale modelling. I have participated in many research and engineering projects. In addition to my education in agriculture, my research in “Modelling of trophic processes in artificial reservoirs and of respective basin loads”, in the “Development of techniques to improve water irrigation productivity” or in the “Integrated Phosphorous Management for controlling eutrophication in watersheds” gave me a strong background to assess existing agricultural production and specific water related (rain fed and irrigated) constraints and potential for improvement. I’m also experienced in implementing operational systems for water management on the farm and watershed scale.
