Adélio Silva is Hidromod’s manager, contributing to the scientific and strategic leadership for the company. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico (Technical University of Lisbon) and a PhD in coastal modelling from the same institution. Over the last 30 years he has gathered a grounded experience in developing and applying models to a wide range of problems, such as wave generation and propagation, hydrodynamics, sediment transport and water quality issues. Throughout all these years he also kept a strong link with R&D activities through active participation in several EU and national R&D projects.
