Hidromod and the Port of Aveiro Authority (APA) in cooperation with Fundación para la Investigación del Clima (FIC) and Fundación Valenciaport, in the past 22nd of January 2020, held a working session on the impact of climate change over Port of Aveiro’s infrastructures and operations, within the scope of the Ecclipse Project.
The work session took place at the APA headquarters, with the participation of the Harbour Master, several port operators and departments of the University of Aveiro.
The ECCLIPSE project (SUDOE program) aims to analyse the impact of climate change on ports, develop tools and forecasting models, contribute to raise awareness of the impact of climate change and define transnational prevention and action strategies in southwest Europe that can minimize its effects.
