Environmental impact studies

Impact assessment constitutes a mandatory aspect of great relevance in the majority of projects. HIDROMOD has participated in several impact assessment studies, with emphasis on hydrodynamics, hydro-morphology, water quality and risk evaluation. In all these descriptors, numerical modelling is an essential tool to characterise the situation and evaluate expected changes that may arise from the implementation of the proposed project solutions.

Operational services

HIDROMOD’s experience in numerical modelling applied to the study of environmental problems was a key factor in being chosen to design and implement a water quality forecast system for the beaches of Barcelona and Biarritz (client: SUEZ ENVIRONMENT).
